We welcome visitors to our luxurious San Diego Center -- seven exam rooms, patient's kitchen, three physician's offices, plasma TV for caregivers and little brothers and sisters -- and plenty of the latest movies to while away the time.  Our Gateway Medical Division shares five-star medical space with pediatricians, sporting specialist, a dialysis center as well as chronic wound care and including  a vascular surgery suite -- two full operating rooms.

Our Center is the busiest in San Diego and treats more patients than many of the local hospital based and other free-standing centers each day.

Our Center becomes "your" Center -- a healing and welcoming environment for young and old. We encourage patients to UNDERSTAND THE DIAGNOSIS AND DEFY THE PROGNOSIS. We also provide many other services and medical devices to assist patients recover their quality of life.

Our Center is open every day of the year and service is available on a 24/7 basis. During recent San Diego fires, our Center was the only one available for smoke inhalation emergencies.

Our Center treats many high profile celebrities. We therefore recognize the need for confidentiality and privacy of all of our  patients, young and old.

The Chambers - the most modern with a proven safety record . . .

Our Center features the "Series III HBOT Chamber", commonly  referred to as "hard" chambers. These hospital grade chambers are considered to be the most comfortable and  the most modern and patient friendly chambers used in the U.S. and around the World.   Appropriate  HBOT pressures, as prescribed and supervised by your M.D., D.O., D.D.S. physician can be safely administered.

Our chambers are versatile and adaptable. The easy load "zero-gravity" chair is a feature. Should prescribing doctors ask, the patient can have "air-breaks" during the 100% oxygen treatment period.

Treatments in "hard" chambers are between ten and thirty times more effective than air-bag chambers. Patients heal faster and the overall cost is lower.

Note:  Regarding inflatable air-bag chambers :Recent media attention to the so called “mild HBOT” inflatable air-bag chambers is misleading. We believe these devices cannot be adequately pressurized  and a waste of time and money to their users. They ARE NOT hyperbaric  oxygen chambers. They CAN NOT provide the healing effects of hyperbaric chambers where the patient breathes 100% oxygen. Please go to our web page on air-bag therapy by clicking
here  before making a decision to use one of these devices for your treatment.
